La película "Birdman" del cineasta mexicano Alejandro González Iñárritu es una de las favoritas
La gala, que irá precedida de la habitual alfombra roja, dará comienzo a las 17.00 hora local (1.00 GMT del lunes) y será emitida en directo en EE.UU. por la cadena NBC.
Las actrices de comedia Tina Fey y Amy Poehler serán las encargadas, por tercer año consecutivo -y último, en principio- de conducir las tres horas de programa que contará con los actores Harrison Ford, Amy Adams, Ricky Gervais, Catherine Zeta-Jones y Robert Downey Jr., entre otros, para presentar los premios.
Los Globos de Oro constan de 25 categorías repartidas entre cine y televisión, y drama y comedia, lo que hace que estos premios resulten un mal referente para predecir los ganadores de los Óscar, donde no existen galardones de televisión ni división por género.
La película "Birdman" del cineasta mexicano Alejandro González Iñárritu y el filme "Boyhood" de Richard Linklater son los principales favoritos para llevarse los premios de mejor comedia y mejor drama cinematográfico, respectivamente.
Iñárritu es además candidato a los galardones de mejor director y mejor guión, su nominación en esta última categoría es compartida con los argentinos Nicolás Giacobone y Armando Bo, así como con el estadounidense Alexander Dinelaris.
En televisión, la disputa más interesante se centrará en el título de mejor miniserie o telefilme, galardón al que optan "Fargo" y "True Detective", las dos producciones para la pequeña pantalla que más nominaciones obtuvieron para la presente edición de los Globos de Oro, 5 y 4, respectivamente.
