I hope the person riding this motorcycle never decides to play the lottery or go to Vegas or try a handful of unmarked pills because I’m pretty sure they used up all their strategic reserves of luck right here, at the moment you see in that video. I say this because after crashing his motorcycle into the bottom of a flipped Toyota RAV4, the dude managed to walk away, pretty unscathed.
Here’s the entire wreck, recorded in a remarkably high 1080p and 60 fps:
To recap, that Camaro runs the light and hits the Toyota, which rolls over when it impacts the white Ford. The motorcyclist recording the whole thing plows into the bottom of the Toyota, his bike sliding out from under him as he clings to the exposed suspension and frame bits of the SUV.
Amazingly, not only was no one seriously hurt, the biker managed to ride the bike away! Here’s what the biker/videographer, Malik Elizee, says about the wreck:
To answer some common questions: No one left in an ambulance, myself included. I was wearing most of my gear (was only going up the road so only had on regular jeans and boots), gloves and jacket saved me what would’ve been some serious sliding damage. The bike would’ve been a lot worse shape if not for my frame sliders My frame slider is completely grinded and destroyed but it saved most of the bike. Other than some broken plastic and mirror, the damage isn’t too serious. Still can start up and ride, I actually rode it home.
Holy crap, right?
I think the best part of this alarming and remarkable video is at the end, when the biker, in that strange, confused territory between terror and elation, runs to the grassy lot by the road and flops on his back, spewing profanities of joy and relief as he revels in still being alive.
