El silencio es ensordecedor

The car looks like it’s melting on itself because it’s not in the typical patterned camouflage used on most test mules, and there are more photos of it at Motor1. One of the few parts that isn’t covered up is the set of fake tailpipes in the back, which the car doesn’t need because it isn’t spewing emissions everywhere.

The Mission E concept that came out in 2015 had more than 600 horsepower, and Porsche said it could do 0 to 62 mph in 3.5 seconds. The estimates back then were that the first Mission E production cars would be on the streets in 2019 at the earliest, and that it could charge to 80 percent in 15 minutes. Sounds fast.

Maybe that was a bad word choice. The Mission E doesn’t sound like anything.

While I doubt the suicide doors could make to getting a license plate, the combination of the giant vent wheels, the LEDs, all the carbon fiber and the fine leathers in the cabin could turn this into the sexiest catfish yet.
