This is Rally Connection, barely wide enough for Deane’s Mazda when he’s driving straight, let alone fully lit sideways.
It’s a fun watch, and some nice driving.
Watch A Pro Driver Drift The Road He Grew Up Driving
Everyone has that one road they drove over and over again as they learned how to drive and love cars. Formula Drift’s Matt Field made the pilgrimage back to his boyhood road and took his thousand-horsepower pro car with him.
Field is a NorCal dude, so this reservoir road almost painfully reminds me of the foothill roads I drove often in my parents’ old Volvo wagon.
I was there, wishing I had something with power, with a chassis that could handle it, and ideally a hydraulic handbrake to go along with it.
